Did you know that God has a wonderful plan for you? Jesus said: “I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly” (John 10:10). And this is what the Bible says the Word of God, on this Good News.
1. God’s Plan-Peace and Life
God loves you and wants you to experience it in full peace and life that only He can give. The Bible states: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son [Jesus Christ] that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
2. The Problem of Human-Separation
Being at peace with God is not something that happens automatically because, by nature, man is separated from God. The Bible says: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God ” (Romans 3:23). And Romans 6:23 says: “For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” The man has tried to remedy this gap in many ways … but without success.
3. God’s Remedy-The Cross
The love of God is the union between God and man. By dying on the cross and raised again the third day, Jesus Christ suffered the punishment of our sins. In the Bible, Jesus says, “I am the way and the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father except through me “(John 14:6).
4. The Answer Man “Receive Jesus Christ
The man responds to the love of God by believing in Jesus Christ and receiving Him into your life. That means accepting Christ’s death on the cross as payment for our sins and receive Him as our Lord and Savior. The Bible says: “To all who received Him [Jesus Christ], who believe in His name, He gave power to become children of God” (John 1:12).
Repent of your sins, receive Jesus Christ into your heart in an act of faith and follow Him in obedience as Lord of your life.
Would you say Yes to Life? Then pray this prayer:
“Oh God, I know I am a sinner (a). I repent of my sins. I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins, rose from the grave and lives forever. Open the door of my heart and my life, and receive Jesus as my Savior. I want to follow him and that he be Lord of my life. Thanks for saving me. In Jesus’ name, amen. “
